Thanksgiving Game Day Outfits 2026: Harry Potter Night Hoodies & Tees for Lions, Eagles, Chiefs and Bills Fans
Oct
Thanksgiving Day is the one Thursday a year when football, family and a very full plate all share the same living room. On November 26, 2026, three games fill the day from noon to night: the Chicago Bears visit the Detroit Lions, the Philadelphia Eagles head to Dallas to face the Cowboys, and the Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills close it out in prime time. If your team is on the schedule, your outfit is part of the tradition. This guide shows how to build a Thanksgiving game day look around the new Harry Potter Night 2026 collection β black hoodies and tees with a wizarding twist for Lions, Eagles, Chiefs and Bills fans.
Why the Harry Potter Night Collection Works on Thanksgiving
Most Thanksgiving fan gear falls into two camps: a plain team tee you have owned for years, or an ugly-sweater style top that only works in December. The Harry Potter Night designs sit in between. Each piece pairs your team with a wizarding-inspired design on a black base, so it reads as game day gear on the couch and still looks sharp at the dinner table when Grandma wants a photo.
Black also has a practical advantage on a day built around gravy, cranberry sauce and wings: it hides the occasional spill far better than white or light gray. Pair that with the fabric and you have a top that lasts the whole day, from the first kickoff to the last slice of pie.
Built for a long day on the couch
Every piece is printed to order on a 95% polyester and 5% spandex blend. It is light, has four-way stretch for reaching across the table, and the print is bonded into the fibers so it stays soft instead of stiff. You can read more about the fabric and print process on our Product and Manufacturing page.
Your Thanksgiving 2026 Game Day Lineup
Early game: Bears at Lions
Detroit hosts on Thanksgiving every year, and Lions fans treat it like a holiday within a holiday. The Detroit Lions x Harry Potter Night hoodie puts Lions pride front and center on a black base, which makes it easy to spot in a crowd at Ford Field or at a packed watch party. Afternoon game: Eagles at Cowboys
The afternoon slot brings one of the loudest rivalries in the NFC. Eagles fans heading to a road watch party can go with the T-shirt version and layer a jacket over it, or pick the hoodie if the game is being watched on the back porch. Either way, the black base makes the team design stand out. See the full range of Philadelphia Eagles apparel.
Night game: Chiefs vs. Bills
The prime-time matchup is the one most households will stay up for, and it has the feel of a playoff game in November. By the third game of the day, the house is usually cooler and everyone is reaching for something warm, which makes this the moment for a hoodie.
Chiefs fans can find the Harry Potter Night hoodie alongside the rest of our Kansas City Chiefs collection, while Bills Mafia has its own version in the Buffalo Bills shop. In a split household, matching hoodies in rival colors make for a great photo before kickoff.
Hoodie or T-Shirt? How to Choose for Thanksgiving
The right pick depends less on the team and more on where you will be watching:
- At the stadium or an outdoor tailgate: go with the hoodie. Late November evenings get cold in Detroit, Kansas City and Buffalo, and you can layer a T-shirt underneath.
- At a crowded house party: the T-shirt is the smarter choice. A full kitchen and a dozen people around the TV warm a room fast.
- All-day marathon on the couch: wear the tee for the early games and keep the hoodie nearby for the night game.
- Hosting dinner: a T-shirt under an apron keeps you comfortable at the stove, and you can swap to the hoodie once the oven is off.
The hoodies are listed at $40.95 and the T-shirts at $28.95. You can compare every style in our hoodie collection.
Styling Tips for the Whole Day
- Keep the rest of the outfit simple. The graphic is the focal point, so dark jeans or joggers and plain sneakers let it do the talking.
- Coordinate the family photo. Matching black bases look clean in group photos, even if half the table cheers for a different team.
- Add one accessory in team colors. A beanie or scarf ties the look together without overdoing it.
- Plan the layers. A T-shirt under the hoodie means you are ready for both the warm kitchen and the cold walk back to the car.
Not Playing on Thanksgiving? Wear It Anyway
The collection is not just for teams on the holiday schedule. Fans of the San Francisco 49ers have the same Harry Potter Night design, and it works for any Sunday from now through the end of the season. Because the designs are not tied to a single date, they also double as an early holiday gift for the fan who already owns every basic team tee.
If you are already thinking past Thanksgiving, our Christmas collection has team designs ready for December game days and gift exchanges.
Order Early: Timing and Care
Every Zekkiu item is printed to order, and the holidays are our busiest weeks. If you want your gear on for November 26, order as early as you can and check our Shipping Information page for the latest timelines before you check out.
Once it arrives, keep the print looking new by washing it cold and inside out with similar colors, skipping the bleach, and tumble drying low or hanging it to dry. Avoid ironing directly on the design.
